You are the receiver of a gift.

  WHAT IS IT?

  WHERE HAS IT COME FROM?

  Will probably be two of the questions you might ask.

In looking at Spiritual Gifts, there was a discovery that each person had been given gifts to use.

THESE GIFTS HAD COME FROM GOD.

These gifts are different from the talents we each possess, and each person has been given different gifts.

So, what is your gift?

Is it :- administration, helping, mercy, creative communication, teaching, hospitality, prophecy, counselling, encouragement, evangelism, giving, leadership, shepherding, or something else?

Well, just like any gift, you will only know if you open it up.  If you do not unwrap it, you can only guess at what your gift might be.  This unwrapping was something that was done through looking into various ways that one might find out and establish what their spiritual gifts might be.  This included filling out assessment sheets, and also getting people who know you well to answer questions about what they see in you.

Once the wrapping was taken off, the gift / gifts were known, and then it is up to the individual whether they will use them or not.

Will they be stored away and ignored?

OR

Will they be used? - the reason the giver gave them!

Well that's only up to the receiver - isn't it?
