Do you see yourself as a chairperson, an evaluator, a researcher, or as a good support worker? These are some of the questions that can be answered in ‘Belbin Group Roles’. It is a model which looks into the differing roles people work at in-group situations. We are given the opportunity to take part in a self-perception inventory to help us assess our strengths and weaknesses within team-roles. With this information it helps us to put into practice our strengths when we work within our group setting, or even the challenge to take upon roles that we feel we’re not particularly good at. ‘A useful guide to help us in our learning.’
